Innocence Scroll and Hammers

Has anyone tried this or knows the answer?

You use two vicious hammers. Both fail. So you have 7 slots 2 hammers used. If you apply innocence and it succeeds, do you get 9 slots? Or does it go back to the 7 slots?

It erases everything you've used on the item and returns it, minus potentials, nebs and soul, to its clean state...so the hammers used would be entirely removed from the equation and you'd start over with a clean item that has 7 slots and room to apply 2 hammers...the hammers count as scrolls used just like any other scroll, passed or failed, and are thus entirely irrelevant after using the inno...it'll return to exactly how it was when it was clean. Again, minus potentials, souls and any nebs attached. Those are not impacted or altered in any way by an innocence scroll.
