What did everyone think of the first ep? Good first impressions, or did you not like how it went?
I thought that the first episode was well done. I think they voice actors did a great job in their roles. The main cast were actually spot on. I personally haven't listened to Goose House on youtube, my brother has, but I think they did an amazing job with the PV songs and OP. Can't wait for more

@deciduous yea I knew you would bring up silver spoon lol. didn't really have time to reply yesterday cause i was busy but so far i agree but i dont want to criticize too heavily in ep 1, we'll have to see where it goes from here

Just watched it. It was great.
Goose House is amazing! they did songs for Gin no Saji last season (which you should have watched/should watch).
I really liked this first episode up until the park. The whole pervert thing got really contrived (why did mc wait so long to take the damn pic?) with the photo and clothes etc etc etc. That and the little kids being weirdly good musicians really threw me off, and the entire last bit just seemed like a different show? I think the only other thing I disliked was how heavy-handed they were with mc's mother being abusive. It's like they didn't trust you to put 2 and 2 together so they had to spend a full minute reiterating how she was terrible.
I really see similarities between this and Honey and Clover though, which is a good thing. Designs are cute and art is great, I love that it freely jumps into humor and SD style, and the music theme elevates it to something interesting beyond a plain romance. Plus we're guaranteed good music throughout the show!

Ill wait for it to finish then ill watch it. I always hated waiting for translators.

The first episode was classy. I'm not sure how the story will turn out, but at the very least it will look and sound nice.
First episode was fabulous~ Definitely an early frontrunner for AOTS.
I will watch it when I get back.
