Are 2h Blunt weapon Paladins dead?

I've been lurking around this part of basil and I rarely see any 2h blunt weapon user. I wonder what's wrong about it(other than loosing a few defense points) Other than that is there really any difference between going 1h or 2h?

@SilverBladez: Can't find an empress 2h anywhere. Rocking the 1h atm and I love it, I suppose the 2h version wouldn't cost too much.

For the love of god, why the ugliest BW possible? D:
Or well if you like how it looks its nowhere my right to tell you not to take it.

But in my oppinion it looks really odd and bizarre.
I rather suggest getting a Agares 2 handed bw (These look insane with more slots)
or if you can afford it an empress 2 handed mace like me.

@Razzi:

I know, I even made a thread about how useless it is to go 2-handed. But playing a 2 handed mace paladin is just fun.
I started as a 2 handed mace 4 years ago and I stay a 2 handed mace.

Don't misunderstand me though. I do own a 6% Str 168 att one handed sword + a 6% str 3 att shield just in case.
But all in all I mostly use my hammer. (Practicly always.)

And its not slow either. (;

And I actually have 6k def with my hammer so I dont need the 200% def that much either.[/quote]

Except with a one handed weapon you get faster attack speed, a shield for additional attack and one more item to cube for strength. Mathematically it makes zero sense for a Paladin to go two handed. Let's not forget the max defense and guardian, which will come in handy at tougher bosses. With that said, mad props to anyone who still uses the boss-status two handed weapons.
