Is My Friend and I Dc Locked?

So first I would like to say this happened to my friend this morning. My friend apparently was dc hacked for his fm 5 spot yesterday morning, and he said he was dc locked so he could not log in on one of his chars(and he still can't after over 15 hours). I found this quite strange, because why an fm 5 spot rather than an fm 2 or fm 1 spot? And why would he be dc LOCKED after the spot was already taken? Later I just assumed my friend got unlucky or he had some ragers after him. So after 12ish hours, I made an fm shop. The shop was doing alright and I was watching a show while leaving on maple in windowed mode. Then, I clicked my maplestory window and the whole window was frozen and I had a buddy request from a beast tamer. I recently asked a person in the fm to buddy me so I could negotiate the price for one of their items, so I assumed this beast tamer was them. I stupidly assumed that I just the dc was a coincidence and did not write down the name of the person that buddied me. Now it seems like I am being dc locked and do not know what to do. My guess at the moment is that this beast tamer is dcing me whenever I log in, but I waited over an hour offline and I after going back on, I still dc. So now, whenever I try to login to maple on the character I was dced on, I get a black screen and maple stops responding. I find this very weird and wonder why it happened to my friend and I. Also, I am not sure if this is relevant but my friend and I bought fairly cheap spelltraces from some person two days ago. We both were merching these spell traces for a small profit and I am wondering if this is connected to our disconnections. Seeing that we bought over 30,000 spell traces each, I find myself stupidly wondering if the seller was a botter or sort of hacker that acquired the spell traces illegitimately. My friend did not get to sell many of his spell traces, but I sold all of mine, and again I am not sure if this is connected to our disconnections, but I would like to supply as much information as possible. Could anyone tell me if this is a dc lock, and how I can go back on my character. Thanks!

Still doesn't work X_X, 3 hours after maintenance too. Anyone got advice on just fighting this lock? I really wish I wrote down the beast tamer's ign...

The spell traces are not the problem, people buy duped and botted stuff all the time, either you made an enemy or your character is just stuck.
they're using clb "Clientless bot" to lock you. It's party disconnection some how sends errors to your character and locks you tell they stop. I've been locked for 3 days straight because russians are racist to chinese.
I could login to my other characters fine. Thanks for the responses, theres actually a maintenance now too. I can't tell if I'm lucky or unlucky atm, if i keep dcing after the maintenance I'm guessing someone really hates my friend and I or we're just glitched. Keep opening maple and log into a different channel each time, the channel you don't DC in means the Hacker is located in that channel, they can't dc you from the same channel. I was experiencing the same issue.
have u tried to log into a mule?
1. The spell trace seller did not acquire those spell traces legitimately
2. I do not think you are being DC locked, nexon has gotten a lot better with the DC hacks and it is very hard to DC someone these days. If infact you are being DC locked by hackers then you are dealing with someone who has private hacks and you have angered them to the point where they are really upset with you.
