Maint will last quotTBDquot

Not sure what genius in Nexon HQ came up with this...

Looks like Nex found an excuse to take Naps and Donut breaks every half hour of "work".

Overunder +- 10 hrs on Maint.

@Jampysos: I'm not making excuses for anything, I'm only pointing out the stupidity in your first post.
I would agree that it is like pissing in the users' cherios when they do this, however, there are many reasons for it. Almost all players would be upset at this, and then some would even turn to rage on a forum acting like they know everything. It doesn't matter how long you've been playing, which, by the way, doesn't really look like 7 or 8 years when looking at you're basil. It doesn't matter how long I've been playing. Fact of the matter, Blizzard is entirely larger in regards to both the actual game and company. Now, stay with me here. This can only mean one thing: Blizzard has a much larger staff to deal with any and ALL problems! NOT only that, MapleStory is not Pay2Play. When you have a customer base that must continually pay for membership, you had better have that customer service you're talking about. A "TBD" maintenance would be unacceptable to their players and would DROP sales for the entire company. Nexon... is a black hole. Probably because it's free, but most of it's past users come back at some point to check out updates. Some of those even come and go multiple times, like myself.

So you're saying that Nexon should be more like Blizzard. Blizzard is an American company with majority of their resources in America. Nexon on the other hand is a Korean company with only fraction of what Blizzard has in America. I think you need to think about what they have on hand to deal with such things before you do crack jokes at their expense.
@Jampysos: You speak as if you know the facts.
How does a company remain profitable by doing nothing? You're oh so confused, my boy.
"TBD" is the way they tell you, "something has come up unexpectedly, and we can't just shell out a time and promise to bring the game up by then." had they said 3 hours, for example, and were forced to extend, then more ass tards like you would be nubraging for nothing.

Please, compare WOW and Maple again. lolololol
Two totally different worlds, guy.
LOL OK BIG GUY ,
I don't know why you are giving excuses for a major corporation.

TBD quite honestly is unacceptable, it shows little to no regard for the userbase.
Bull like this, and idiots like you are why the userbase has dwindled to crud since I have been playing it, nearly 7 or 8 years ago.

And yes, if Nexon had their ish together they could and SHOULD have been on the same page with devs like Blizzard,
but things like "TBD" and some of the worst customer service possible for such a large userbase, destroyed their chance,
now Maplestory (at least GMS) has no hope, and is quickly coming closer to its doom. Pls, convince me that I don't know what I'm talking about,
I have watched a fantastic game with immeasurable potential turn slowly turn to crap for years now.
Why does everyone assume that Nexon is a very lazy company. Maintenances like this are a lot of work and only done because it needs to be. When they do this everyone complains about it, and when they don't, everyone complains about all the glitches. Nothing satisfies you people.
probably because they are horribly inefficient with their and quite honestly "our" time...
you're pretty ignorant if you think it's a job full of donuts and coffee breaks
A lot of basilers make jokes like that or say they'd do better if they worked for Nexon lol. But when you think about how many hours they have to work to fix this stuff... That's a horribly stressful job and I don't think they get paid all that much.

It's not a job full of 10)% effort and hardwork.

Even WOW doesn't need "TBD" hours, and that game is much larger than this, with a MUCH larger user base.

Don't defend slackers, it makes you look foolish.
