General

I was wondering about my range.

I'm a Xenon, lvl 180, 92k buffed range (111k with OOParts), 46% boss dmg (76% with OOParts), 45% Crit and 71% PDR.
At first I was kinda bummed seein how I spent half of my mesos getting to this range (Half of my mesos is really not a lot tho) and a lvl 153 Xenon is 135k range buffed.

But then I started thinking, he spent over 5b to get to that range on his level (I asked him), whereas all I spent was 120m.
So my question is:
Is my range good considered that I only spent 120m on it? (I'm not even wearing any pants, waiting for RA pants)
Btw, since I only now bought some eqps it's all clean and unscrolled.

Not sure why people claim the game is dying - it isn't. Far from it, actually, it's still peaking in fact...

If you care about becoming pro, then go play WoW instead of a single button game. Nobody thinks it is a "PRO" or gives a slight respect to you for having higher numbers in this p2w game.

This game is all about money or spending no life

I agree 100%.
Maple is about FUN, not range, or numbers.
And yet however.... I still need someone to remind me that once in a few months. Because lets be honest here, who wouldn't want to be Godly if the oppurtunity was given to him?

Each time I get reminded that Maple is about fun I have the best time on it, because I just stop caring about other stuff. Sometimes being strong is fun, but if you can't do that, have fun in other ways =3

Anyways this thread went completely off topic

@microcras: Thank you. I'm planning on taking my big pharm test next month!

Yes, we all come from different walks of life but I enjoy how the game puts us all together so we can all have fun.
This is correct. People always seem amazed that we didn't spend a single dollar in the game but the reality of it is we both paid a price that was even bigger; time. If we spent that same amount of time working a minimum wage job to fund our game, we would be volumes stronger (although itay is already.... beyond godly) That being said, we both are playing a game and we had lots of fun building ourselves up so I have no regrets with the amount of time I spent. It wasn't that much tbh actually...

I don't consider it an accomplishment for myself to spend $0 on the game. Other people only see the numbers, but I personally see it as more of a way to make the game more interesting for myself. I find this to be similar to people who play Pokemon vs playing a Nuzlocke. They lose and have to lose their pokemon. I lose and miss opportunities such as the permanent hyper teleport rock or the most recent: I missed the opportunity to horde lots of prime scrolls from the 9th anniversary event.

I didn't spend money on the game because I didn't want to push extra resources to myself. I picture myself as a scavenger in that sense that I have to earn the money in order to spend it. If I miss an opportunity, I just got to make due with what I have and find a different way to achieve my goal.
Oh and btw gl on ur pharmacy stuff , what he says is correct, but there are ppl who can't get a job yet either becuz they don't have time, too young, or can't find one, and some ppl would use their free time in maple and save their money instead of using their free time to work and get money and using it on maplestory becuz lets get real, most jobs are not as fun, even if you enjoy what you're doing mostly, as something you really like such as maybe maple
This is why I hate Maple players anymore.
You don't have to pay any NX to be a pro -_-
Hell the strongest player in GMS (I think @itay07734 is the strongest...) never paid a single dime
he paid in time=money

Then prob he played this game like no life since it was released. That's another possibility

Range doesn't matter all that matters is:

((L*D)+(W/G))/(A^2)
Length times Diameter plus Weight over Girth divided by Angle of the tip squared
