Lumi more damage than Xenon
So I asked you guys why my luminous did more damage than my xenon, and some suggested that it's because my lumi has more PDR. However, this is clearly not the case as you can see in the two screen shots. My xenon way more range than my lumi, yet he is doing less damage. Can anyone tell me why? I checked the damage% of reflection and snipe. Snipe deals 440% damage compared to the lumi's 420%. Can someone explain what i'm doing wrong? People have been telling me that funding a xenon is much easier in terms of damage, however even with more range my xenon is doing less damage than my luminous.

so would my damage as a xenon actually be what it should be? and my luminous is just dumb?
Gollux cuts Xenon's damage in half. Doesn't effect lumi because it's a mage.

Rods have a weapon multiplier of 1, in other words, they don't have one. Xenons do. That's one reason why range would vary between those two.
Now I'm not sure about this, but maybe there's elemental/physical resist that one of the classes can avoid? That would make a lot more sense.

@krysticakes my xenon has all the link skills, hence the higher range + higher stats overall even if he has higher m. att, his range is still lower. would having higher m. att but lower range change anything?

Sorry to be off-topic, but can you tell me what your lumi has in terms of equips? I can't even get 100k range o.o

Well, it's not so much a elemental resistance, but a resistance in general. It cuts your damage in half, but Luminous has a skill that lets them ignore this, being able to deal their full damage. Which is the case here.
The newer bosses have elemental resistance, which will cut 50% of you damage. Some classes can bypass this. It has nothing to do with having "elemental attacks" though.
xenon's have elemental attacks?
Lumi ignores boss elemental resistance. So a Lumi won't get a 50% damage reduction.
oops sorry I fixed the links. @oneDevil yes I realize that but if you just look at the %damages of both spells you can see which one SHOULD do more damage
ranges mean nothing when two different classes.
PDR ignores the monster's defense so PDR is generally needed in conjunction with range
