How do I make this?
My house has very bad cellphone reception and my room seems to be the worst. What I want to make is something that takes cellphone signals from somewhere strong, carry them across a wire, then transmit them to the desired spot. I don't have any spare cash to buy a range extender so this was what I thought up. Any idea's on how to make this? I was thinking just hooking up two antennas but I doubt this would work.

Supposedly a frying pan or a sauce pan used in the same manner works as well.
Lol.. I remember reading about making a "Cantenna" out of foil and a Pringles can.. it was for WiFi tho.
I dunno about cellphones, but yeah, I'm sure YouTube has the answers.
I'm sure people have posted creative and/or stupid ideas on the internet i.e. YouTube and Answers.com
...stuff like hyperbolic antennae made out of cardboard and aluminum foil.
