Malwarebytes now has a real time shield!

I updated my malwarebytes to find that it now has a real time shield. It's about time they added this and this should make malware protection easier on our part. What are your thoughts?

Yeah.. pretty much all the companies that have been offering free versions of their programs have really stepped up the "marketing" of their "pro" versions now.
Some of them with all the class of a Nigerian royal prince.
Actually, the new release of the Free version of Malwarebytes is coming bundled with a 30 day trial of the "Pro" version (I think that's the time period), so what might have happened is that you chose to install that when you installed the new release of the Free version.
This, and honestly I find it almost as annoying as Zone Alarm

Ummm. The "Pro" version of Malwarebytes has always had this.. it's one of the selling points for upgrading to their paid version.

Actually, the new release of the Free version of Malwarebytes is coming bundled with a 30 day trial of the "Pro" version (I think that's the time period), so what might have happened is that you chose to install that when you installed the new release of the Free version. It does ask, but it's the sort of thing that's pretty easily missed when installing just another update.

Try starting Malwarebytes, then click the "About" tab and see if it says anything about it being the 30 day trial of the Pro version.
If it is the Pro version it should also have automatic Updating for the virus signatures database.
