The only classes that actually have a problem with the roots are mechanics and wild hunters, with their hit box that can span over 3-4 of those things

100k range is over-doing it. You should be more than enough, just get use to Gollux attack pattern and you'll be good

You must be level 150+ to not miss on easy gollux. Other than that, your range should be enough.

My DS range is around 30k buffed and he does it just fine with 30% boss equips and no link skills. He started at gollux at 145 and he misses some, so higher levels should have it easier.
