What has changed?
I haven't played MapleStory since this time last year, and I was just wondering what has changed? I've tried to stay up-tp-date with major updates, such as class releases, but there's a lot I'm not aware of and have missed. I watched a friend play the game a few days ago and it looked TOTALLY different. So, what's new? I heard all of the training maps are different, and that there's loads of new content out. Plus, the entire game interface looks as if it has changed.
I plan on starting over as I have no characters over level 100 anymore in my home server, however I have decent funding to start with (1bil pure and maybe ~500-600mil in equips? Depending on how drastically prices have changed.) Prior to my quitting, I was anticipating the release of Angelic Buster and I have a low leveled one I could pick up on, but now that I've been looking at Xenons I sort of want to make one of those too. Or I might just go back to playing a good ol' Bishop. Any suggestions? Or a brief overview of the Buster and Xenon in today's Maple (assuming Bishops are still generally the same type of character they always were)?
Also - can my Windows 8 HP Envy Ultrabook run MapleStory? From what I remember, last time I played MapleStory had huge compatibility issues with Windows 8. Does this still ring true? It has an i5 Processor and plenty of RAM - and a decent enough graphics card. I'm just worried about the OS. Unfortunately, my laptop is long gone so I'm settling for my mom's Ultrabook until I decide to dish out some money to get a new, decent gaming computer >_>

@transuna Since those training spots have been nerfed, are they now obsolete? What are the major training areas now? I'm actually quite happy to hear the NLC maps are nerfed. =P I always hated how there were mobs and mobs and mobs of level 60 ~ 120 characters all over NLC.
Windows 8 does still have some issues, but most people can run it fine. I also have a windows 8 and last yeararound october to january, it wouldnt load at all. It seems the recent patches fixed that. Regarding your question about the monsters, LHC, jesters and aliens all have been nerfed . FOr 1.6 or so bil, you should be fine but wait for empress to deflate. Apparently there are some glitches with it so the prices have risen dramatically. Also, link skills are op for the new classes (xenon and DA(didnt come out yet)).
