Is Evan any good?

So i've decided to go to the world of mages, because they seem like much better trainers. And i'm kind of sick of only thief classes.
Anyways, i've gotten my Evan to about 60ish and i've noticed that when compared to any other class at it's level, it's pretty awful. I was wondering if they become better later on in the higher levels, and if they catch back up to the damage of other classes.
Any opinions would be helpful

Ewwwww. Evans Suck. Well I mean I played one since they came out up till now and still enjoy it, but later all you really find yourself doing is joining the rest of us in that never ending complaint about how little lines evans have, how un updated our skills are, and how lame our graphics look (especially blaze).

Well, if you want to have an evan that succeeds, you will have to love potatoes.

Evan is my main character because I love killing things with a dragon. It's just aesthetically pleasing to me. I mean if you're looking for JUST damage and mobbing and all that good stuff Luminous is obviously the best because of the ridiculous reflection attack. And honestly battle mages have really high damage now, so there's that. But yes, Evan does get better at level 120. Flame Wheel has EXTREMELY long range and Illusion has VERY rapid damage which decimates bosses. At level 160 you get Blaze which after a recent revamp made it actually relevant; its damage is super good now that its number of attacks got increased to 5 (previous 3).
If you stick with evans and go all the way, you can get a pretty fast dojo time
bossing is awesome! illusion now have 30%boss add to the skill effect
If you're going to pick a mage for ease of training, go luminous. World's easiest class to train lol.

I find evan to be extremely fun. Illusion is cool looking, flame wheel and blaze are fun to spam, and you can glide on mir. Not to mention you GET TO HAVE A DRAGON. They do have an annoying amount of buffs, i will say that.

I tried evan and I guess they're an okay class. I'd prefer lumi over evan if I ever mained a mage.

play mages for fun not for dmg. thieves and warrior have best dmg and most gears available. most warrior and thief gears are expensive but there are so many of them it shouldn't be a problem unless you have very low funds.

luminous, evan, battlemage, and fire poison mage are all strong mages.
