Quick statting question

I swear I saw this before, but has there been a Cash item that could move the scrolled stats from one thing to another as long as they were comparable (say, a pair of pants to another pair of pants, or from one dagger to another)? Or am I just fantasizing about something that might actually be USEFUL in this game? XD
