Just got backwhat do I do?

So I have played maple since 2006 to like 2010. Quit then played again from middle school to freshman year. (Stopped after playing Phantom a little bit)

The game got so rigged and such then I quit.

Now I heard there was a "reboot" patch. Is the game fun and worth going back into? I want to but idk if the social aspect is there(unless the Reboot helped with that.)

I know there is no more trading and everything is self earned but that's fine. I just need a little help with my decision because honestly maple has been my happy place multiple times.

Sounds like me lol I always find myself coming back to ms. It's nothing like it was back in 06, that feeling is forever gone. I remember practically every chan was full, now its just chan 1 & most towns are dead. For the social aspect, if you're not playing with irl friends, then joining an active guild is your best option. They can catch you up in no time with whats changed, since a lot has. I was intimidated when I came back from years of not playing but it only took about a week to catch up & feel like I know what I'm doing again.

In Reboot, you become successful by buying a pet and then grinding at extremely overpopulated maps for 6 hours a day.
With this practice, you can earn about 1 billion mesos in 3 days...somehow. The math never worked out for me, I don't freakin understand it.

@savaah: Only if you are in a guild, so to respond to OP: you have to seek out the social aspect. It's a different MapleStory now than it was back then in regards to that.
