Blaze Wizard 3rd Job Math

I think the Blaze Wizard guide that is pinned in this forum section made a mistake.

I'm proposing that it increases your damage more to put your 1st point into Fire Strike, but then immediately max Ele Amp before maxing Fire Strike.

Every point you put into Ele Amp (after the first 1, which goes from 100%->112%) increases Fire Strike's damage % by 2% of what it says it is. So if Lv 1 Fire Strike is 376% Damage, and you put your first Lv 71 SP into Ele Amp, Fire Strike becomes (3.76 * 1.12) 411.2% damage. So now you're level 71 with 2 SP and you don't know where to put them. Let's look at the three possibilities.

+2 Fire Strike (3.88 * 1.12) = 434.56%
+1 FS +1 EA (3.82 * 1.14) = 435.48%
+2 Ele Amp (3.76 * 1.16) = 436.16%

So element amplification produces higher damage.

Let's look at a Lv 80 Blaze Wizard, one who chose to start out by maxing FS, the other maxed EA first then put the remaining SP into FS.

BW 1: 20 EA, 11 FS - FS's Damage: (4.36 * 1.5) = 654%, 29mp per cast (18 mp * 1.6 from EA)
BW 2: 30 FS, 1 EA - FS's Damage: (5.5 * 1.12) = 616% 34mp per cast (28 mp * 1.22 from EA)

That's a pretty noticeable difference if you ask me. Can we get this added to the guide & fixed? I wish I would've maxed EA first, lol.

EDIT: Added MP cost per cast. It isn't even a question in my mind, seeing as how not only does the Lv 80 BW with maxed EA do more damage, but it also costs 5 less MP per cast. Closed case imo!

When you have as mindless a job as I do, you've got plenty of time to think about other stuff, including Maple. LOL

I'm not gonna make a whole new revised guide, maybe the creator of the guide that's posted already can just edit his? EA first is hands down the best way to increase DPS as long as you get that first point into Fire Strike, and maybe even 1 point into Flame Gears just so you can use them both at any given time. Obviously EA doesn't have as much of an effect on FG as it does on FS, but the difference with FS is enough to make it well worth it, and you're investing 20 SP into a skill that makes EVERY attack 50% stronger passively...it's OP'd tbh haha

Well, here's the thing. Level 11 Fire Strike, which is what it would be at Lv 80 with maxed Ele Amp compared to 30 FS at lv 80 with 1 EA, costs 18 MP, or 29 with max Ele Amp. Lv 30 FS costs 28 MP, and that's without the 122% MP cost that 1 EA would increase it by, which puts it at 34 mp per cast, which is even MORE than maxing EA first!

Added this to my OP
