Not sure whether to be absolutely thrilled at the greenlight or disappointed at the inevitable mass censorship of everything.

censorship arguments are lame
i'm not familiar with the source material, but fail to see how cutting some violence would compromise the story. Berserk has survived through two adaptations fine and is probably as violent/sexual as anything else.
