What was Nexon trying to accomplish by making everyone log in at once for hot time
during 2x? and giving out 2x coupons to make it 4x?

Point of this recent hot time:
Getting people to go on their mains for the different rewards, only to get the tiara on that char and possibly transfer it to their Mercedes using a future Sharing Tag = NX.
If this weren't true, Nexon would have allowed the item to be transferred through the storage.
