Missing Use slots?
I just made a gunslinger and I only have 24 Use slots instead of the default 28? All my other slots have 28 except my Use slot. Which is annoying, because if anything I should have more Use slots, due to needing bullets.

all explorer pirates get the master of swimming and increased inventory but not cannoneer's link during RED
All (explorer?) pirates receive the Cannoneer skill which expands inventory space after RED.

Just wait til RED, you get 24 extra slots in all tabs except Cash tab of course. (Due to Master of Storage skill)
You also get master of swimming skill. This was cannoneer exclusive before
