Three new Game Masters
Notice posted on the Forum today:
"Dear Players,
Of all the suggestions you have sent us, one suggestion has always stood out "more GMs that are online during European playing times". This request has come in often and over the last few months we have been very busy finding new GMs. As you can imagine, the position of GM is one that very many people want and we have reviewed many applications for the position.
As of May 1st, we have hired three new GMs for European MapleStory, they are [GM]Neko, [GM]Crayons and [GM]Chaos. They are currently in-game and you should see them around in European MapleStory.
These three GMs are based in Europe and will be available during European Playing times.
Come and have fun with us!

Ah yeah, it's NXNeko, also on the rankings as a level 193 thief. From what I've heard a lot of people have seen Neko already, they seem really good Game Masters. I hope they get paid good by Nexon
Haha that Neko guy came in to chaos horntail run today, we all thought it was some hacker since we could click on him and invite him to party etc. Also said NXneko, and not GM like it usually does.

And what is the GM's job exactly?
I had the plesure of talking to some of em today. And there sure is alot of good questions they need to asnwer, I even got a few answers myself
I personaly think helping users with questions about events, help on how to get around on the forum, where to get the news, be friendly and try to understand what the users is expericing from accual talking to them is a really important job. It shows they care and is accualy in the game and not just a myth, always nice to know they are there ^^

Oh, you're lucky. Hacking seems out of control in GMS, I see it everywhere I look. The GM's are invisible (so you can't see them).
Even if they are around, they're clearly not doing a very good job.

But you should note that in EMS there is a tiny tiny tiny amount of dc hackers (after the server move) and tiny amount of hackers anyway, i usually see one of hear of one once every 1-3 weeks. They were in henesys, which is a hub for hacking/duping/nx selling (NX selling is banned in EMS) so they were actually doing their job, GM's are supposed to communicate with users to know any problems, and they were indeed answering some questions and telling the noobs to go to the forums etc for bans and stuff. They're cool.

Yay. About time we had game masters who were active. NXcrayon is probably most likely hated by my friend, Traditional (No. 3 in the beg. ranks now ahaha). Some GM's are pretty nice, I saw one henehoing the other day and he was talking about biscuits. I hope they do the same. I'll be stalking them if I can...
