Magic attack after big bang
Can someone confirm for me that Magic Attack works like Weapon Attack after BB? Cause right now it's 1int = 1m.atk, if it does change, what's the average ratio?
Since wands/staves have a weapon multiplier of 1.00, you can write the damage formulas as:
Max Damage = ((INT * 4) + LUK) * M.Atk / 100
Min Dmg = Max Dmg * Mastery
In this regard, yes, magic attack will be just like weapon attack.
As far as X INT = 1 Magic attack... that's an ever changing formula. You cannot simply say "3-4 Int per Mag Attack", especially with potentials out. You could have 3k INT with potential, and only 200-250 magic attack (making it 12-15 Int per Magic Attack)!
To get your own personalized number, just divide your total INT by your total M.Atk (Total INT / Total M.atk). It will change all the time as you get more INT or magic attack...
EDIT: Also, all of the spells will deal a % damage based off of your damage range on your stat screen. All mages get a "Mastery" skill (added to a base of 25% mastery) in 2nd job that affects ALL spells. Currently (Pre-BB), masteries are built into each spell individually.
Thank you :]
