No, the effect shows up when you attack. I only know VIP bows has a nice effect but not sure how pole arm one looks like. It's probably like those swing effects on nx weapons.

Sorry I was skimming since I just need a VIP polearm asap. I apologize. But I still think we are digressing. I am looking for a VIP polearm, just that. Since i prefer the name and looks both equally.

I see no difference in color for the 3rd unwelcome guest pole arm

Edit: I just remember there is one difference! The effect that shows up when you attack with a VIP weapon! But the look of any 3rd unwelcome guest weapons are the same as VIP!
I guess go for VIP for the effect.

I am pretty sure the VIP looks different from the unwelcome guest series. Also the name "VIP Polearm" is smexy.

So you only want the VIP version? I got lower level visitor polearms.
