Ignore enemy defense question
So I know the x% amount of ignore enemy defense when attacking is relatively good but does how does it exactly help?
I have a feeling my reasoning is totally wrong.
Say I get 30% Ignore enemy defense when attacking doesn't that technically mean I'll hit 30% more?
Say I hit 100k + 30% wouldn't I now hit 130k?
Please correct me if I'm wrong?
No.
Let's take Zakum for example.
Zakum has a PDR of 40. That means that all damage you do to him will be reduced by 40%.
If you have 30% PDR ignore, what that means is you ignore 30% of the PDR. Meaning 30% of 40, which is what? 12?
That means with 30% ignore defense, on zakum, you will be doing 12% more damage, all things equal.
Thank you! ^^
No because it's not 30% dmg, but 30% PDR. Say that if a mob has 0 defence, 30% less would still be 0 thus not changing your damage.
Say it does have over 30% defense, then I would be hitting 30% more?
