Hmm not really true. Most people by the kpq place were merching items and things like that. lpq was only cool if you were able to complete it fast. If you didn't know what to do in lpq you were kicked out of there party or no one would party with you. Honestly, I really don't see this big amazing MapleStory as you all claim it was. I wasn't back during beta but I played when ariant was released which was more or less close. It was mostly about damage, merching, and grinding. The only difference from today and back then is it's easier to do those things now than it was back then.

It was always about damage. idk why people think it was not. Remember people wanted those FS or 10 attack+ pacs all the time? or high dex BSS? 10 att wgs? etc It has always been about pure damage. Maybe during the very beginning when mesos was still scarce to come by but for the most part it has about money and damage.
