@natty2: That makes sense, so they're considered mini-bosses then. Ironic, Jett's headshot move won't work to ko mobs, but pally's HH will lol. I guess it's fair considering HH is really slow.
@natty2: I see. It's just odd the way heavens hammer affects them cause usually only bosses can be ko's by hh while mobs stay at 1hp
What?
that doesn't make any sense...
But yea, attack that act differently against bosses triger their bossing effect when done against a mob with a mini-boss flag (all HoH monsters, and all future perion golem type monsters).
Same goes, for example, for Jett's skill "Brain Scrambler" - that 1HKO every monster, except bosses, where it does extremely high damage, 4 lines.
If you use Brain Scrambler on mobs in HoH - it does 4 lines of damage instead of OHKO.
That is to prevent the auto-kill from preforming on end-game mobs, because then a level 160 jett could walk into HoH, and solo all monsters, and reach level 190 in a matter of a few hours.
Hoh monsters count as "boss monsters". Whenever I use heaven's hammer, it deals damage to the monsters as if they were bosses not regular monsters (can knock out instead of leaving at 1 hp). If boss damage applies to these monsters, stick with one boss damage shield.
I can 100000% gurantee you, that boss damage doesn't apply to HoH monsters, and Warrior Grounds.

@natty2 12% Boss on bonus pot =P
I used to have a training shield (even though I stopped training) with 18%mg.att and a bossing shield with 50%boss, 6%total damage and 6%int.
I then decided to invest all into my bossing shield and worked on bonus pot. Now it's 62%boss, 6% total, 15%int, 12%mg.att and gives me more range than my training shield.
The time and effort going into making another shield might be equal to what I did to improve my boss shield, and that might be one way of doing things for yourself.
how could is be 62% boss?
I've never heard of a boss line that isn't a multple of 5...

Just cube a secondary for grinding and then leach me to 250. <3
I have both shields... in reality, I don't have a true use for both.
Although, as a bishop, I need as much jump as I can get for grinding.
Naturally I have 117% jump from other equips;
So I have 2 shields:
1) Bossing Shield: 60% boss damage + 6% magic attack + 21% PDR
2) Training Shield: 30% total damage + 9% magic attack + 3 jump.
So yea, while I wear my "grinding" shield, I get more range, and my jump reaches 120%, which means I can train more easily (Bishops need to jump high in order to complete Big Bang's animation before landing) Although I am perfectly able to grind with my bossing shield.
Unless you're a bishop, I suggest one shield, with the most Boss damage / magic attack / PDR / Total Damage - as possible.
Edit: I heard rumours about some powerful players who have 2 weapons perfected - one for bossing, and the other for training. Though in reality, I am 100% sure that if they have enough money to afford 2 perfected weapons, then they are perfectly fit to grind with their bossing weapon as well. No grinding monster in the game requires more than 1 hit to be beaten by a single attack of a decently funded player.
Nah. If u can afford a truly DECENT bossing shield, ur probably gonna one hit any monsters u train on anyways.
I 3 hit hoh monster (doing almost 2mil per line w/ ar and 2.8 with bb). Should I cube this shield for %m.att, then buy another shield for %bossing and cube it for bossing?
