Perfecting Empress Wand question

Hi there,

I currently have a clean empress wand, and I want to try to perfect it. It's 162 magic attack, with 18 magic attack from potential (which is 2 lined rare). Now, here are my questions:

Is it even worth perfecting?

How much money would it take to perfect this wand? (on estimate)

Which scrolls are best for perfecting the wand, and how many of them would I need?

How many white scrolls would this take?

Should I keep the 18 magic attack potential or cube it?

Any help is appreciated.

If you want a GM scrolled perfect wand/staff, you might be able to make it for as much as the duped variants/premades cost, as people have already mentioned.
If you want a 20%'ed perfected wand/staff, you'd be better off buying a duped one. Making it yourself is at least 2x the cost, if not 3-4x, depending on prices.

This applies to pretty much all perfect weapons these days. This may be a problem, but most duped 20%'ed weapons aren't sold for meso, rather NX/$.

@Above, you listed enhancement wrong. from 200-249, it gives +5 m.atk, from 250-299 +6, from 300-349 +7 and so on. only way to get 29x m.atk staff / wand is to 20% then enhance

@WhereItHurts Nice of you to write all of this out.. bit of a waste though since he's in Bera :l .

Anyways WS here are about 120M ea, 100M at lowest (extremely rare) and is slowly rising and 50% staff/wand scrolls are 100~200M. At his point you would have to wait for mcrollin's shop to open up in ch 11 fm 1, he sells perfected empress items for 1.5~2B depending on the type of weapon. Though I haven't seen his shop for about 3 weeks, so it might be hard to track him down. Might as well get some money saved up and wait for him to open up again
Youre an evan, you should get dragon tail mage staff. staff gives better base matk. and evan attack speed isnt affected by the weapon. so consider getting emp staff.

You are better off buying a perfected staff/wand. +10 gm scrolled wand/staff goes for max mesos. HOWEVER, if you want to scroll it yourself, you'll most likely spend more than max mesos as you would have to buy gm scroll service or pink scrolls (150m each x 10 at LEAST = 1.5bil) which only succeed at 50% rate and you would need to get no-boom clean slate scrolls. IMO, its better to get gm scroll service which for me personally i bought at 1.7bil for 8 (thats because i had 2 gm scrolls that i was going to use anyways and someone gave me 2 100% hammer). So lets say you buy 8 gm scrolls a cheap price of like idk 1.5bil for 8 scrolls. you would need to buy two 100% hammers (which are now tradable) at 50-100mil apiece, plus another 2 gm scrolls (187.5 x 2 = 375mil) which brings you to about 1.5b + 375m + 100m = 1.975bil. You only save about 130mil approx IF you get everything at THE minimum price (50mil hammers, 187.5/gm scroll, and your staff for 0 mesos).

If you are going to use pink scrolls and you want to get the most GODLY of wands, then i suggest you buy the one that gives +7matk per scroll. That would give you the best possible matk emp wand at 162base matk. Although this would cost you a fortune (dont go this route unless you want to be doing max damage with magic missile T_T). If you are deciding to buy the +5matk pink scrolls, it would probably cost more than max mesos unless you get extremly lucky and you have the diligence perk at a really high level. As 1 ws costs 80-85mil, duped ones 75mil. if you plan to clean slate instead of ws (which i HIGHLY reccomend instead of ws), you SHOULD have to get the 10% no-boom clean slate scrolls which can be bought from the renegades shop at 15coins each or at the gallant shop at 7 emblems each. If you buy clean slate scrolls that might go boom, well....i would never do it myself so idk up to you on this one (buy prot scrolls? dont buy prot scrolls? prot scrolls are awfully expensive, 5.5k nx in the cs WITH discount, and 150mil for prot scroll service). Assuming you fail 50% of the time and you buy 100% hammers you would need a total of 20ws and 20 pink (24ws if you dont use 100% hammers). 20ws = 1.6bil alone. +5matk pink scrolls = 150mil x 20 = 3bil. Total? 4.6bil Which is why I suggest you to use clean slate scrolls.

A few things to add, always ask for collat before getting a service done. Make sure the collat is something near the value of your weapon or you might get scammed. You pay for the service AFTER they scroll your weapon. So when you return their collat for your weapon, you pay them then (basically pay on the 2nd trade and not 1st trade).

Never AEE without +10 on your emp wand.

Now to answer your questions

Is it even worth perfecting? yes

How much money would it take to perfect this wand? (on estimate) Max mesos (not including enhancements)

Which scrolls are best for perfecting the wand, and how many of them would I need? 10 for gm scrolls, at least 15 for pink scrolls

How many white scrolls would this take? As many as you need for pinks, although i dont suggest you use ws

Should I keep the 18 magic attack potential or cube it? cube it. buy the 3.1k nx premium miracle cube first to get it to 3L (25% chance to go from 2L - 3L) and then buy epic pot service + protection service (100mil for epic pot service, 150mil for prot service). I dont suggest buying the awakening stamp at 15k nx unless you think you'll fail 5 premium miracle cubes....which i doubt.

Edit: This is all based on SCANIA prices.
Jenny so knowledgeable O3O now find me a cheap GM seller.

Wow! Thanks for all the information and time you put into this!

However, I looked up the stats and I saw that the empress staff is only 1 magic attack higher, so would that really matter?

Also, you mentioned that a perfectly scrolled staff goes for around max mesos in scania. Does this include good potential or not?

I know cubing is luck-based, but would it be more cost-efficient to cube a pre-scrolled staff myself or to buy a pre-scrolled pre-cubed one?

And one final question, how much magic attack is a perfected staff or wand? (just to be sure)

I've never really gotten into scrolling equips so I'm kind of a noob on this terrain.

Thanks so much for your effort and time to help me!
