Is there any way to block Dc hacks?

Getting "dc hacked" for some reason. Did Nexon implement any way to stop this in the past few years?
Well dc locking is by nature, a denial of service. I don't think it's unreasonable to call it ddos.

Anyways i don't want anyone to get banned. Not that big of a deal to me. Just wondering if i could somehow block it without PEs.

@scrpts It's on my mule. I think i've said a combined 20 words to people. I'm actually so lazy that i don't even really talk in trades. It's probably because i got a FM 4 spot right after the server maintenance a day or two ago.
There's a way to block it by blacklisting the character(s) that send you messages. You can also go to FM 4 on a mule and try to find out who's d/cing you and reason with them.
"DDoSing" affects ALL the Internet, not just Maplestory. If you're being DDoSed, you won't be able to use your Internet AT ALL.

"DC Locking" only affects Maplestory. Some butthurt kid is using a script he stole from someone else to overflow your Maplestory client and cause it to disconnect.

And no, Nexon has never implemented any way to block these attacks, even though it would be fairly simple to do it at the server level.
They HAVE patched out some specific "d/c hacks", but they have to do this for each specific type of attack, and mostly they don't seem to care much.
You can try blocking those IGNs and turning off whispers, chats, invites and so on, but it's iffy as to whether it'll help for any specific type of d/c attack.

If you can, take a quick screenshot showing the chat box with the IGNs of the characters spamming you before it d/cs your client and report them to Nexon in tickets for Harassment. They may not do anything about it, but you never know, it might help.

If you get disconnected too quickly for a Maplestory client screenshot, try to take a picture of the screen with a camera (with the flash turned off) and try to get a legible photo showing the IGNs and use that in the Harassment reports.
It's probably one of these reasons:
You were a jerk to someone
Free Market (undercutting, FM spots, etc.)
You scammed
Only a handful of people have a bot capable of "d/c locking" a people for long periods of time.
You can probably find out who's doing it to you if you think about what you did recently and then try talking to the person.

The Gold Richie Safe event just started and I was wondering, did anyone mysteriously disconnect after trying to open the safe with a wrong combination?...
