A "Panther" is just the term used to describe [b]any[/b] large black cat. In Latin America, a panther is just a black jaguar. In Asia and Africa it's a black leopard. In Maplestory it's apparently a Jaguar. The terms can be used interchangeably.

So basically: It's both.

It's hard to categorize the genus of pixels, I really wouldn't worry about something so trivial. Call it whatever you want. I say Jaguar because of the skill names.

So it's science, whether you call it a Panther or Jaguar, they are the same thing. Nexon probably used Jaguar because it sounds cooler than Panther.
