Help with upgrading equips
Would it be better to use 30% with NO CSS or just stick with 70%?
I just can't afford CSS right now, and I'm not sure if I should just wait until I get the funds for CSS or go ahead, scroll 70%, and eventually innocence it all.

If you can't afford 30% just go with 70%, since that has higher expected value. On weapons the difference is mostly unimportant compared to the jump to 15%, while on armor the difference gets washed out by star force and other sources of + stat.
For me i use a fully 70% as a substitute while I'm working on my 15%'ed one
Edit : This is for faf whip, its pretty cheap. Assuming you're on a budget, don't buy something like 2 faf hats or bottoms bc expensive
