Aran Skill Guide
Seen a few threads recently asking what skills you should max. Firstly my guide is based on maxing all the skills because of the Leafre set in your codex. The Leafre set gives +1 all skill levels and ignore 30% of the monsters defense when attacking. So ideally you should be using the Leafre set, it isn't very hard to get considering you could ask randoms to take you to Horntail and most people can kill it easily. The (+1) you see in the guide will be because of the Leafre sets effect.
So here it is:
First Job:
Double Swing 20
Combo Ability 10
Combat Step 5
Polearm Booster 20
Combo Smash 9 (+1) = 10
Second Job:
Triple Swing 20
Polearm Mastery 10
Final Charge 9 (+1) = 10
Body Pressure 4 (+1) = 5
Combo Drain 9 (+1) = 10
Snow Charge 9 (+1) = 10
Combo Fenrir 9 (+1) = 10
Physical Training 4 (+1) = 5
Final Attack 20
Third Job:
Full Swing 10
Advanced Combo Ability 10
Final Toss 19 (+1) = 20
Rolling Spin 19 (+1) = 20
Might 19 (+1) = 20
Combo Recharge 9 (+1) = 10
Cleaving Blows 10
Combo Judgement 19 (+1) = 20
Maha Blessing 9 (+1) = 10
Fourth Job:
Maple Warrior 30
Over Swing 30
High Mastery 20
Final Blow 30
High Defense 20
Combo Tempest 30
Combo Barrier 30
Hero's Will 5
Sudden Strike 10
Advanced Final Attack 30
Boss Reverse Combo 20

why would you leave them not maxed though? do the skill points transfer over to 4th job? and doesnt +1 from the leafre set make your skills go past the limit so like 30 to 31?
@Hydroxide I know her guide exists (never used it though), but not a lot of people who go on basil use that site, main reason I made it was cause I saw a few threads in the past week on basil.
I agree with MapleBhav's guide more than ayumilove's. Its easy enough to get +1 skill from either emp set or leafry set, and you will be using the leafry set for a while and easy HT is a joke even for new players (in a group not solo).

Yeah I'm not gonna leave all that stuff at one point cause of some set effect that will take me a while to get.
Just screw final charge and final toss/rolling spin.
