Old Vet Returning to the Battleground

Hey there guys, I've been gone a while, since November 2012 to be exact. I'm just wondering if theres any major updates I should know about. Last time I played Luminous was the freshest offering. I mean, I've been keeping up with the OrangeMushroom blog during my retirement period. I know WHAT the new jobs are, I know WHAT the new level cap is but what I don't know is what the experience is like now. Feel free to leave some thoughts on how the game has changed in the almost two year period of my absence.

Stuff About Me:
I started my journey into Maple in about May/June of '07 but didnt really dig into it until around the release of Pirates- though I didnt make a pirate, I made an I/L Mage (Moar like ILL MAGE, amirite?}. The Evan you see as my primary is actually a Release Day character (If you can believe that), I really play Maple because I love the personality of the world- the old school yet modern feel of it- and the story it tells. But more-so the Community and Guilds, namely Periodic, Baby Finest and the fine people of Connection. There was a point in time where Maple was my love, 8-hour sessions were an afterthought for me, I even started a few FanFiction Series' (A Tale of 2 Legends/Legendary! and Recruits!) but as my high school career was winding down I got more into the Call of Duty MW3/Halo Reach/Bethesda Games vibe.

Basically, I became an angst-y motherf***er.

But one fateful night and a glass of mishandeled Kool-Aid later- I was out of a computer, thus out of Maple. Nowadays you can catch me on Xbox 360 (Soon to be PS4) playing GTA Online, Borderlands 2 or still running a few classic Bethesda Games (Skyrim, New Vegas, Oblivion etc.). But with my new Laptop (Big ups to Lenovo for that July sale) and a better outlook on life I think its time to bust out the old habit!
