Funny that I honestly haven't seen much change in the Maple gameplay from the addition of all of these exploited UA characters. I mean sure I see more at the LHC parties adn etc. But its not like it made more players play or anything, since most people would not be playing their mains while they are playing the exploted UA that they have created. I personally have a level 120 NW and a UA hero myself, and I don't really care that this has happened because they are hackers. This does not effect my gameplay as much as a HUGE GM SCROLL DUPING SESSION. And nexon did nothing about that until there were like MILLIONS of them. SO seriously YES this is a good Idea to do it. BUT, the history of nexon implementing such a process without banning the odd LEGIT player here and there is impossible. So sure it is a good idea, and I would support if nexon had the audacity to do it

It would be nearly impossible to ban them all. There just a regular job ID, None different from any other of the explorers. The skills are obtained by a Quest that is forced onto those jumpstar characters (UA's). As for the Eyes and Hairs, There is probably hundreads of unreleased, Even more. Not all the GM's are probably aware of which ares are implemented and which arent.

Also since its a P-Exploit, The system can't recognize it seeing the packts are "Legit". And then someone who would try to get a second UA would delete his other cygnus cause its useless. Etc, Its just so much work and tens of thousands did it on tons of accounts.

Note that there are multiple methods for this exploit.

Really exploited UA didnt cause any real harm why is this such a big deal to people...

What about Claudia's hair quest? You can get NX hair from that without spending a dime. And the fact that you can simply pass over hair coupons from your mains through the cash vault? Also a possible flaw. The accuracy with which Nexon can filter out the hacked UEs from the legit ones fully depends on how detailed their logs are. It's possible to get them all, but it's also possible that it's not possible.

But let's face it. Any potential solution would require effort, something Nexon isn't likely to put in.

I don't even care if there are UE exploiters, like, seriously, hackers are a god send to the game in some cases. They lower the prices on alot of high level things.

Being an NX fashion geek, I feel inclined to exploit this UE thing you all are talking about. I want to get auto-royal eyes. Some of them aren't even out yet but are in the extractions. I WANT THOSE >:O

Yeah, but you can get royal hair from those coupons. And it's not not a waste of time. The whole point of KoC's now is to get to 120 and make a UE out of it. I don't see why making a UE without having to get 120 levels before it should be something that's a "waste of time,".

I don't think you understood my argument. As I said before, I left my personal views on hacking out of my entire response. No where did I imply hacking was ok; no where did I imply that I disapproved of it. If you had the common sense, you could have figured that out.

Also, I'm not making excuses to ban illegitimate UEs, I never said anywhere that I wanted them banned; I left my personal views on that matter out for a reason. My whole argument was based on the callousness of other players, not whether UEs should be banned or not. Your response has only further proved my point that players only care about themselves, if you don't want other players to care for you, then so be it. I'm only saying that players who only care about something that directly affects them are selfish and should reconsider what they say.

My friend told me that these UE/UA hackers use a random IGN from the rankings and use that as a basis to make the UE/UA. If that is true then:

1. List all UE/UAs
2. List all lvl 120 CKs
3. Cross reference with CK successor list (UE/UA) and actual list of lvl 120 CKs
4. Tada?

i have an UA, and i have a 120 cygnus, you may check if you'd like
but i honestly have no care about this
in fact, i had fun leveling a dawn warrior before soul driver was patched
but how are YOU going to feel sorry for ME (and others) when i don't even care?
i don't want your pity
i even feel sorry for the people that exploited their UA
because they'll never know the once overpowered soul driver and they'll never have the intense cygnus boss battle at 120 that i so much enjoyed
quit trying to make excuses for reasons to ban all the exploiters
if there's a reason that's not some poor excuse for these people to be banned, it is because they broke the rules, plain and simple
not because we feel bad for people that "worked real hard" for their UA

Assuming there is no possible way to get royal right now, They'll just ban every newly created UE with royal hair/face, and let the regular face/hair ones go. They always let someone go

For one, many people worked hard to earn their UE. I, myself, have never made a UE, but I know people spend days or weeks, maybe even months, to get their CK to 120, and then many more additional hours to collect their peridots. Have some empathy. When people say they don't care, what DO you care about? Do you only care about yourself. And I'm not saying that we should all show sympathy for the people that earned their UEs, because maybe they don't care themselves.
