Tos reading for fun

I never bothered to read it, until now.

some cool stuff:

COC:
- "Engage in rude, unlawful, harassing, vulgar, obscene, hateful, threatening, abusive or otherwise objectionable behavior, including, without limitation, looting, kill stealing, making sexual comments and/or cursing; "
- Engage in using macros (i.e., "macroing&quot, auto-looting or robot play (i.e., "botting&quot or any other behavior that allows you (or any character you are controlling) to automatically function or effect any action in a game with or without your presence;
- disclose your "name, e-mail address, telephone number, age, address, etc"

"You agree that you cannot and have no right to sell or otherwise transfer any of the Cash Items, Nexon currency or any other content or information included in the Service, in whole or in part, to any third person or entity whatsoever, including, without limitation, on Internet auction sites (e.g., eBay, IGE), hack sites, privates server sites, gold farming sites or in return for anything of value (including "real" money) or otherwise."

-"we reserve the right to scan and obtain information from your computer"
-"If you would like to have your personally identifiable information removed from Nexon America's databases, please contact our customer support"

(if you've ever gone to your temp folder look for maplestory, there are tons of logs)

My logs are in chinese so I don't really know. I get what you mean though. They aren't intentionally spying, but as a result they collect info.

"there is a possibility that as a result of the scan, non-personally identifiable information as described herein can transform into personally identifiable information"

Yes, but KSing is a grey area. Only a small group of people have actually been banned for harrassment by KSing... and it's normally those who participated in mass KSings in where a party or guild would follow a user around, regardless of the map or channel and would prevent them from training completely over a series of days.
