Crack Down on bans
Nexons maplestory team really pulled out the whip on this one,
whether they hired new newbie mods or enforcing strict rules
its happening more often now
selling nexon, inappropriate igns, hacker giving you stuff, hacker partying with you, etc
all get you banned now.
for example, before botters would bot the f out of the game for 5 months without ever getting caught
now, like what happened to me for example, I wanted to try Cooking with Tangyoon pq, so I went a nub account, partied a guy who told me he would pq with him
I went into the pq, bam, instead of mushrooms, nerfed magnus bosses everywhere
he kills and loots tyrant and nova
~left the pq, 1 month later, they perma my main account
TLDR: be careful with this game now, put aside all nexon selling to mule accounts, delete inappropriate ign accounts if they're low level

In the past a hacker partied me so I helped train him. Then I d/ced, I logged back on and defamed him

Sooo what about all the duped equips, hacked party maps, and buying/selling nx and/or mesos and taking advantage of glitches in events and all of those everyday "illegal" activities that most of the funded maplers do? In that case, shouldn't a lot of the "hardcore" maplers get banned?
@MegaSonic: It depends on whether you stayed with the hacker for the entire pq, or left right away. If you left as soon as you saw him hacking then you can always send them a ticket and explain your situation.

How in the world do we know for sure that this guy is a hacker and he is pqing with tons of nerfed magnus bosses without partying him.
