Is it hard to get item crystals in reboot world, can you extract item crystals by doing Alchemy?

I haven't seen anyone with their own extractor in Reboot so I don't know about that, but most alchemists I see just use the book at the left of Ardentmill to extract their equips and get item crystals.
@meiguihua: I guess people are stuck at the yellow powder part.

Why wouldnt it?
Its the same as regular worlds
