Ive dropped the dang eye of fire like 50 times and ive tried clicking stuff, is it currently glitched or am I just stupid. Or both.

U don't drop the real eye. U just drop the chunk which u get from the 3rd job instructor.
By that you have to drop in on the middle spot too, The Altar.
