Burning Character Event question
So I saw on the website it said , "And the fire keeps on burning with another season of the Burning Character event. Select one of your characters under Lv. 100 to receive two levels instead of one every time you level-up! Keep on leveling to earn Cryptic Chests, which contain Frozen equipment and a pet Snail."
I was wondering, how do I select the character for this?? Thanks in advance!

Burning event is coming back.
When it comes, you'll see on your character selection screen a new button "Burn!" under every character under level 100, and above level 10.
This event has passed my friend.
Edit: unless this is a new event. I'm not sure.
This update with the next burning event season comes on the 14th of January, so it isn't available yet.
When the update hits, there will be a flaming burn button under all of your characters, in the character select screen, that are eligible (under level 100) for this burning event.
