Usually you just have to sit through that part, but I found with this update that's where I had issues (my button that says updating/verifying/play disappeared), so I tried manually patching with gamelauncher. That failed, too. I ended up reinstalling nexon launcher and maplestory. Sometimes reinstalling maplestory is faster than actually updating it because of the glitchy launcher -_-

When it gets "stuck" at update, it generally is installing stuff.

And here I thought my launcher was the only thing broken -_- ive retried it a dozen of times

The Nexon Launcher seems to get 'stuck' a lot. It is working, but doesn't show any sign of it (and takes its sweet time. From my experience, as long as the Nexon Launcher is still working (i.e. hasn't crashed), then all you have to do is wait and eventually it will finish, it just doesn't show any progress bar or similar while doing whatever it is actually doing.

Yes it just hangs there for me, but now its want me to re-download the game -/-
