How are Dawn Warriors?

Hello. I'm looking to make a Dawn Warrior mainly for the attack buff cygnus blessing provides but if fun enough, I may consider maining it in the future.

I'm looking for a fun class while being able to boss/mob efficiently. I don't expect mobbing to be on par as my luminous, but I do want the bossing to be a bit more convenient. In terms of funding, I'll be giving it items over time (not in a rush at all). So how are DW's in terms of boss/mobbing? And are they mobile?

Also, I'm assuming they use 1h sword/axe + shield/secondary or 2h? Which is recommended for overall damage output? (attack speed inclusive)

Thanks a lot!

Okay, thank you for the info all!

DWs sounds interesting and fun so I'll be making one whenever I can get an extra character slot

Well I just compared my lvl 140 DW to my lvl 140 Hero against hilla with the same exact equips and maxed skills (as Hero is known for it's pretty epic 1v1 boss damage)
Hero took about 90 Sec to kill Hilla while DW took about 95 sec to kill Hilla (Even with 60% Elemental Ignore)

Perks for Dawn Warriors:
[*]70% Elemental Ignore is fantastic for end-game bosses. It's a massive advantage against all other classes.
[*]20 Sec Bind skill with only a 2 min cooldown, yet another massive advantage (Pallies and Demons have 3 min CD on theirs)
[*]20% of that Elemental Ignore works for your whole party as it's a boss debuff. Your party members will love you for it.
[*]50% Defense Ignore (70% If you use Hyper for Careening Dance) is a strong amount of base Defense Ignore
[*]Higher damage potential than most (hits like 18-20 hits per second from what I can count) with a damage cap of 60m (they get +10m on theirs)
[*]Strong raw mobbing damage

Cons:
[*]Not that tanky compared to all other classes in the game.
[*]Can be frustrating because of the constant switching of stance as each stance has a different skill and effect
[*]Poor map control for mobbing as their Rush skill is TERRIBLE! By far, the worst rush in the game.
[*]Their 1v1 is bad if you have lag because of the constant stance switching

So DW 1v1 damage is definitely upper tier in end game bosses and their mobbing is upper tier as well, but the gameplay can be irritating and complicated because of your stance switching every single time you attack.

Personally I think they're like a mini-zero because of the wide variety of skills and the Sun/Moon stances. I think they're really fun, have an awesome theme/aesthetic to them, and have great party and utility use with good damage.

DW's are a lot better post Big Bang that's for sure. They are more of a mobbing class with Solar Pierce/Crescent Divide as their main skill. The skill for hitting one enemy is the Sunset Splitter/Swirling Moon which isn't bad, however if you hold down the skill for too long it pauses and you can't restart for a few seconds which ruins flinching on mobs. Also DW's don't use axes, only 2H swords recommended, unless you have a really good 1H and shield.
