Paladins dpm compared to aran and drk?

I really would love a strong warrior ua class and i think pallys just might do it. Heros look boring with that fast slash move and are overpop.
I have a high 16x level aran/drk and was wondering if i'm able to do the same if not more damage on a paladin?
or should i wait till demon slayer comes out?
