How long in general is the wait for world transfer? I've heard next server check, and then I've heard 3 months. Which one is it?

How long in general is the wait for world transfer? I've heard next server check, and then I've heard 3 months. Which one is it?

Yeah it seems like they only do it a few times a month, and then they don't even do it during some of the times they say they will.
