Why is Ems so big?

Not the in game community or something, but the folder. My EMS folder is at 11.9GB, which is huuge compared to GMS. Why is that? I notice we have two folders with the original names plfpynar.$$$ and yhfqxxtu.$$$ which are 3.8GB and 1.9GB. These folders alone are bigger than GMS. What does these folders contain?
