Proxies at school? Does anybody know of any proxy that has worked at your school, and do you mind sharing them here? The reason I ask is because I've tried many things with mixed results. These include but not limited to: Using Proxyivy to make myself a home proxy, the ports are blocked at school so it doesn't work, and my friend confirmed that my proxy does work at his house Using teamviewer, this only solved half my problem because teamviewer only works if you are plugged into the ethernet, and most of the time I don't have access to one so I have to use the wifi, and it doesn't work over wifi Tried using proxyfire to test different types of proxies, including but not limited to http, socks4/5 Bringing my own router to see if I can forwar
Windows Xp Problems? As some of you may know, Windows XP is having an end to the support on April 8th, 2014. I however have some questions and cannot find answers to: Will Windows XP be safe to use after the date has passed? Should I actually get an antivirus for once? I ask this because I have 2 computers and they are both on XP, and I can't upgrade due to hardware limitations (Pentium 4 and my other has graphic issues with windows 7) Thanks in advance

Chemistry help please Hello, I am having trouble on this problem. Gallium exists naturally as gallium-69 (mass == 68.93 u; isotopic abundance = 60.1%) and gallium-71 (mass = 70.92 u). What is the isotopic abundance of gallium-71? What is the average atomic mass of gallium? What I don't understand what equation to use. I would use the one to solve for the atomic mass, but it doesn't give the atomic mass in the question so I can't solve for the isotopic abundance, unless I'm using the wrong equation? Thanks a lot.

Teacher lost my midterm, what to do? EDIT: This has been resolved, and here's how: He gave me 3 options, 1: Get a 78/87 (90%) 2: Re-do part of the midterm 3: Get tested orally I chose 1 because I did not want to rewrite / get tested anymore. It only dropped my average 1% from 92%. I'm kind of glad in the end that he lost it because otherwise I could have got a low 50% on it, because I did not finish one program that was worth a lot. I had a midterm for grade 12 computer science a couple weeks ago and he told me today that me and all the people above me on the class list does not have a mark. I don't think my teacher gave enough information to do this question, but here it is: A director of a movie wants a car to drive off a cliff and hit an oil tanker that is 30.0 m away from the base of the cliff. If the cliff is 50.0 m high, at what speed does the car need to be going just as it leaves the cliffs' edge? The 'answer' (his answers are almost never right) is 34 km/h I drew a diagram but the velocity or the time wasn't given so I don't think it's possible. Help? Thanks in advance.
Can my past teacher do this? So last year I took grade 12 computer science. I wrote a report that was very bad and ended up getting a 67% on. My friend is taking it this year and for that assignment my teacher publicly gave out a few finished assignments, and one with my name on it, and saying the mark I got. This is embarrassing because I took that course when I was in grade 11, so all the people that see this assignment now know me because they are in my grade. Is my teacher allowed to post my assignment publicly with my name and mark? Is there anything I can do? Thanks
Senior prank suggestions? So I had this idea of a great senior prank. I have all the teacher's emails and the head of my school board's email. I was thinking of sending a mass email to all the teachers using a spoofer to make it look like the head sent it to them. Possible things to send them: - The offices within the school are going to have their desks replaced with standing desks. This would create a lot of commotion and the fat teachers would complain at the head to not change it. - Schedule fake meetings to discuss a "serious" topic - Somebody hacked into the school system and everybody will be required to change their passwords - This may be a bit of a stretch, but possibly say there will be an assembly tomorrow during first

The question is: (Page 81 of Calclus and Advanced Functions by Mc Graw Hill Ryerson) Write a cubic function with x-intercepts of ,root 5, negative root 5, and 1, and a y-intercept of -5. So, as the question says I make my equation: y = -5 (x - root 5) (x + root 5) (x + 1) then I would simplify, = -5 [(x ^ 2 - 5) ( x + 1)] = -5 (x^3 + x ^ 2 - 5x - 5) = -5x^3 - 5x ^2 + 25x +25 However, the answer in my book is: y = x^3 + x^2 - 5x - 5 Obviously there is something wrong, could anybody help me figure out what it is?
