How much internet does maple use?
Wifi is down due to construction near my house Just wondering how much 'internet' does Maplestory use as I'm planning to hotspot from my iphone to play. I only have like 5GBs of data per month so I wouldn't wanna go over and pay extra just cause I played MS for a night with hotspot. Thanks in advance guys!

Not exactly sure, it's not a ton though. I used to have 5gb of data and I could play ms for a while.
I never ended up going over the limit, unless I was streaming ms with lte hotspot (which lasted 12 hrs).
Right now I have unlimited data so it doesn't actually concern me but I believe the comment above is correct when it comes to estimating how much is actually being drained.
But as I said earlier, it really isn't a lot.
You'll roughly drain around 1gig every 6-12 hours of ms.
@MusicBeats Maplestory uses FAR less data than streaming videos and watching YouTube. I've seen people post numbers with their approximate MB/hour numbers, but I don't remember offhand exactly what they've said it takes, but it's not bad compared to a lot of other things people do with the Internet.
Just take it easy on the number of hours you play each day though because 5GB isn't going to stretch very far if you end up having to use it for everything else until your normal Internet gets back.
You should be able to check how much internet you have consumed after one hour, i have done that many times it doesnt consume much internet.

don't use your data to play ms, it's gonna drain really fast, as if you're watching video, idk the exact amount but it's a good amount, you shouldn't have any connection speed problems tho

I use my LTE hotspot sometimes as well (currently in SoCal) and it works perfectly.
