Keyboard Config
Different classes require different keyboard settings, that much is obvious.
But at the very least, you have to agree that with the addition of 5th job, and easier access to decent skill... Setting up your keyboard becomes harder than ever.
In fact, lemme list just a few that may be common to most players RN;
Rope Lift, Erda Nova, Echo of Hero, Warrior states Manifesto, Soul Weapon skill, Power Elixir, at least 2 different 5th job skills, Epic Adventure, and things you can toggle, and possibly Monolith (Frenzy) and also FS skill, and so much more.
It is without question impossible to fit that much without giving up on SOME keys.
Show you keybaord if you want, but mainly explain, what keys do you not use? What's your preffered arrangment? How do you function?!
(Also; Proposal - adding the option to switch between keyboard set-ups. Possibly a key, like - press F12 to switch between Layout 1 to Layout 2, and back).

@natty2: I'd get rid of World, Echo, Mini Map, Notifier (idk what that does I don't have it), Toggle Chat.
Maybe get rid of your soul wep skill and just use the combo keys to activate the skill?

I am at the point of not knowing what keys to remove.
In nexon spill another skill on me, I wouldn't know what to do. There's nothing I can remove.
Maybe Quest window? IDK
EDIT: the ] key has frenzy when I wear that. I replace frenzy sometimes with other totem for power.
The F9 key is to start/stop recording, can't really use a key on it.
@helpingly: I don't really get why. I mean when I started playing, it took me quite a while to figure out how to change key configuration, so by that point I'd gotten used to jump on alt. Besides it's not like putting Jump on any other key is inherently better.
@ecarina: Surprised to find someone else who still has jump on Alt. I thought keeping it that way was something that was universally shunned.

J is where I use the Eluna exp skill, I also don't put Echo on keys and I don't even really bother with my soul key.
Insert is DSI/DSE, O is just DSI (for when I'm partied with my friend who's a BM), and , is my standard buffs. Alliance chat used to be on 5 but Loaded Die kept making me accidentally do ally chat.

Just look at my toggable auras eat up the upper keys, lovely.
Chances are I would replace where HS (semicolon key) is with Resistance Infantry. The rest doesn't matter because they have long cooldowns so I'll just put them in keys I don't use anyways like the - key, the o key, and the period key (I got pet autobuff).
The only issue I have is where to put Rope Lift, probably at the C key, or maybe the period key.
Heck I don't even put Echo on my keys because its CD is so long, and it's not urgent to cast immediately like Hero's Will.
I'll never get Frenzy or whatever so I don't care about that.
