Lag issues?

So before v151, I had no problem with lag. But now, my computer will run maple smoothly for around 15 seconds and then it'll freeze for like 5 seconds in that cycle. Is this happening to anyone else or are u guys having different connection problems?
Yeah, it's happening to me too at times.

Best solution that I've tried so far is:

1. Set your computer to performance, rather than effects and animations. You can change this in your power options, I'll find a link to a brief tutorial.

The youtube link is really, really extreme. I wouldn't recommend it but it has some great info.

2. Run Maplestory>Task Manager>Processes Tab>Right Click Maplestory.exe>Set Priority>High

I think the population of players has increased dramatically after the update of Shade, and the servers are simply not ready for such a load, therefore lag commences.
This can also be the reason as to why there can be less lag at certain times of the day since less people are online.
Well, it's great to see that the maple community has grown a little, even if only temporarily...
