Shadower

Shadower or Night Lord

I have a Night Lord and I have a 200k range with it, but idk it's been getting really boring lately. I could easily open job advancement but I'm not sure of the benefits of changing to a shadower so give me some details on which is better.

I haven't tried a nl yet, so i can't really say much about it, but i can tell you that shad is indeed pretty fun. It's the job i stuck with the most. Sure, you dont get the benefits of hitting far and gaining "more" exp, but they are definitely a lot tankier than nls. They hit VERY hard in comparison to nls, but does not hit as much line in 1v1 (unless of course, you hit max with carnival edge). People have been complaining about our speed, sure we are a bit slow in comparison to the other thieves, but think about this... if we hit the same speed as db, how op do you think shadowers will get? This is coming from a shadower. Our mobbing hits very hard as well, and our hyper adds a line, making you hit even more! We usually link it with other moves like savage blow due to the small pause in the middle of each boomerang step, but that does not stop us from being "slow". Overall, I can say that shadowers are indeed good, but it's your choice to change jobs or not. Hope this comment helps you in any way.

personally think you should just stick with your NL. I have a 201 Shad and I'm pretty bored of it as it's training is hella slow. I wanted to change to a NL but don't got the perfect claw to be one. Haha.

Just an opinion, shads are everything but tank. They have really low hp, but they know stuff like sheild mastery and mesoguard to give them defense, of which they have practically none. Also, knives are aawesome, and you dont have to deal with the annoyance of having to recharge/repurchase tons and tons of throwing stars.
i have to say i got a nightlord to only 3rd job but they got boring quite quick, see no upside to them except extrem damage boost with extreme funding
Just because you think its boring doesn't mean that others do. And when was the last time you've trained a NL? As of red, we have a different mobbing skill every job advance.

OT: well, id recommend it if you wanna try a new class without lvling another character. I have a 210 NL and a 200 shad, and I have more fun on my NL, although thats my personal preference.

You can play Shad for a change of pace and all, but you will see the downsides pretty quickly. Slower attacks/mobbing, lower exp/drop gain, and no marks flying around and having to do that flip coin/instinct buff thing a lot. The only advantage I can think of is being tankier.
Tsk, what a fool lol. I guess you're not aware of how many advantages night lords have over shadowers. That's fine.
Besides the pleasure of using the same exact move for all 4 jobs and being bored out of your mind, what else is there ?
Lol please, Shadowers are stronger, can be just as fast as most other classes, and does more than just QT the entire time.

Stop being biased, you're just making yourself look ignorant.
imo, there's not much reason to switch to shad. i mean at a lower range (such as yours) shad will be stronger, but nl still trains quicker. i just love my shad cause how hard he hits and how well he tanks hits.

Personally played both a 140 NL and 130 Shadower with speed infusion mule and Green MPE pot, I found NL just to be more smoother to train and to boss. But meso explosion is awesome.

I'd recommend you Night Walkers, already tried them?
If yes and you are mad and don't like em, go for NL
