When I upgrade the skill and the damage reduction goes from -70% to -71%, is it making my skills stronger or weaker?

Thx for the answers guys. Since the skill upgraded blue moon I thought it upgraded blue moon's effects, meaning I do less damage. Glad I was wrong.
Everyone is wrong.
During Moon Stance your damage is reduced by a certain percentage. From the start, it's 55%. It tops off at like 60 or 70% when u max lunar phase. This means u only do 60/70% of your damage during lunar phase. Master further increases the minimum to a max of 80% iirc. This means you do 80% of your damage during lunar phase instead of 60%.
Under Luna Stance with with Max Master of the Sword your damage is reduced to 80%... so stronger. With just Luna Stance your damage would be reduced to 55%.
i think theres multiple effects from this skill....
theres less damage done to you AND you get a damage increase. making you a master of the sword...
On the blue moon skill it says -55%, which means my skills are weaker under blue moon. Does Master of the Sword reduce my damage taken?
i think that means you take less damage. or was that def...
