Long answer: The enemies are, for the most part, toned down. They respawn in the areas, instead of being pre-spawned, making them much like any other area. Also, the wolves were turned into normal enemies and you only find bosses here and there. The exp gain is pretty much like any other area in the game.

It's pretty bad...
The maps aren't flat anymore and the exp sucks...
Short answer: It sucks.
