How do you get so high range? check my gear
Hello,
I was wondering how do you guys get so much range? I am a Demon Avenger level 186, getting aroung 150K range BUFFED, i can solo normal Horntail under 4minutes, but after that is there no other boss i can do with such a range? how do you get over that wall between hortnail and real engame?
with decent gear i accumulate trough the years:
NOTE:
(everything is already upgraded trough traces 70% for max HP or ATT if possible)
(I DO NOT USE NX TO UPGRDEA GEAR***i do not have 2000us$ to invest in a game like you ;p)
RING:
-angelic blessing ring
-growing slyph ring +10
-ephenia ring
-curbrock ring
GOLLUX SET: (2 set efffect)
-reinforced pendant+1
-reinforced engraved belt+2
still need earring and 2x ring (using mystic earring for while farmign gollux)
ROOT ABYSS SET: (full set effect)
-fafnir death bringer +7 (pot=+12att)
-trixter warrior pant+5 (no good pot)
-Eagle Eye Warrior Armor +1 (pot=max hp:60)
-Royal Warrior Helm+9 (pot=magic def+120)
LIONHEART SET2 set effect)
-lionheart battle boot+5 (no pot)
-lionhearht battle bracer +4 (bad pot only)
still missing Lion Heart Battle Shoulder for 3 set effects (using krexcel pauldron while farming)
OTHERS:
-sweet water glasses +5 (pot=+13%max HP)
-forces shield of extreme (pot=+6att)
-using the 8th annivesary cloakc for now(it sucks)

As a DA, you would see a pretty large range increase from link skills and dHB.

There are two ways you can go about getting funded without spending NX.
1. The straightforward way, use free cubes from boss drops/the reward point shop, in which case Jackson gives good advice about using free cubes and epic potential scrolls.
2. The roundabout way where you merch to 50+ B then swing that funding back around into your character. Faster than way 1, but also a great deal less direct and less certain.
I can tell you how I was able to get to 300k range buffed on my shadower.
Keep in mind that I never spent a dime on this game.
First of all, I started off getting all my CRA sets. I was lucky to find a few clean with epic potentials for cheap. I used an epic potential scroll on my weapon. Then I proceeded to use the free cubes that I obtain over events, boss drops, and maple reward shops to get my weapon and my pants to unique and my hat to 6% luk which is still nice even though it's epic. I then proceeded to get the boss set drops. I used the free epic potential scrolls that I got from the maple anniversary shop to get some of my equips to epic, including my emblem and secondary. I also was able to farm gollux coins and used my other characters to input the epic potential on the gollux rings as well. I don't wear my gollux equips until I make sure it's at least 3 lines epic. It helps if you take advantage of the event shop. If you can, try saving up for a tyrant cape as well. Once you get it, you can easily make it 1 star enhanced with the advance enhancement scroll that you can get from the gollux shop. As for gloves, you should do the mu long's dojo ranked. I always do mine after it resets since most people are asleep by then. It usually guarantees me a spot in the top 50's, even in Bera. You can try rescrolling a few equips this weekend during spell trace fever.
I do apologize that my post is really sloppy. Basically what you would want to do is take advantage of free cubes. Start cubing your weapon first, then secondary, then emblem. I got att% on all 3 of them.

What about your link skills? Character cards? Empress blessing?
You have to pour a lot of money into the game to be strong.
Ideally:
-4 set gollux
-4 set CRA
-3 Piece Tyrant (4 Piece if you include gloves)
Extremely Rich People:
-Add in a scarlet/meister shoulder
-Scarlet ring/LGR
Potential with the free cubes in rewards shop or right now you can use cubes from coin shop
