Maplestory Name Chooser
I found out today that Nexon just want some names to themselves.
As I was trying to make a new char, I was thinking of all the names. As I was plotting them in I was interested to find out that the ones I do don't come up on the leader boards.
This is sad if you ask me. Ever happened to you?

Autobanning system does not make you off ranked whether you were falsely banned or not. You will be off ranked only if the game master bans you.
Or people just make new characters as name mules.... characters below lv 10 aren't on the leaderboard.. -facepalm- -,-

Many of the characters who were banned long ago lost their ranking permanently. The names the OT chose may have belonged to many of the names that were banned a long time ago.

Oh okay..I got banned for 60 days because my laptop froze up..my characters should be deleted?
like 4days ago i was trying to make a name for my phantom and i probably went through 200 taken names and like 30 and be used

I've been falsely autobanned twice, and an still on the rankings.
Most of the people that grabbed the good IGN's are below level 10.
I wish Nexon would just delete them all, they're not coming back anytime soon >.<
It's usually due to one of the following two reasons:
1. Someone has the IGN you tried, and has been banned (even 30 day bans take you off the ranking).
2. It's used on a character that is < level 10 (those do not show up on ranking).
There are very few "reserved" names and it shows up as something like "you cannot use this name" rather than "it's being used".
